"Release Me"
At long last, I'm ready to publish "Nervous Exhaustion"
I have a confession to make, friends. I never thought this day would come. I long harbored a fear of being an aged, beaten, and regretful old man, telling anyone who would listen about the great American novel he never wrote. For many reasons, most of which I cover throughout the pages of Nervous Exhaustion, I didn’t think I could overcome the obstacles—so many of them self-imposed—I had to bring this book to market.
It’s a moment I've been eagerly awaiting, and I'm thrilled to share it with you. NERVOUS EXHAUSTION WILL BE RELEASED ON JULY 1, 2024. By pre-ordering starting by May 31, you can secure your copy in e-book, paperback, or hardcover formats. I’ll deliver those specific details as soon as I formalize them.
The work is a completed manuscript, being read by a team of beta readers. Their advice and suggestions are truly helping me put the bow on this lifelong project. The cover art is being completed—and I mean completed as in photo credits, book descriptions, barcodes, and spines—finalized.
I assume I’ll be looking over this and occasionally changing an “on” to a “to” until the last second I can, but the heavy lifting part of this process is over. Rest assured; every detail is being meticulously reviewed to ensure the best reading experience for you.
Once I’m done with my post-editorial revisions, I’ll have a pretty big writing void, and I expect to fill that in this space. It’s long been a goal to get this Substack into working order, but I’ve learned enough lessons about half-assing to know that time is not right now. But that doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate your continued readership, both here and “Wherever I may Ramble.”
I look forward to sharing details about this journey, this process, the hurdles and peaks.
Forever Grateful,
Ed
